All about Dogs!

I'm a dog lover & owner for last past 35 years. I truly enjoy looking at adorable & cheerful loving dog photos from FlickR. I've decided to pick my faves & post them on my blog here by weekly. I am also a big fan of supporting local animal charities (as long as they are reputable). Check out your own city's animal rescue groups for ideas!

I will pick a few shelter dogs by monthly from my local, Los Angeles, CA rescue groups & post them for an adoption. You can also find me on Facebook

I would start off with my dog Thundra who is 11 years old, still has tone of energy for a long walks while she is enjoying life in semi-retirement. Young pups annoys her & She doesn't realized that how much her bad breath & gas become her deadly weapons to people.

Backpacker Dog in Paris!

A person who chooses to adopt a shelter animal should be just as careful in his/hers choice of a breed. The critical question to ask is "Will this dog fit my family?" Desire to save a life is a strong reason to look for a dog in a shelter, but shelter shoppers should beware that many dogs are impounded or surrendered because their previous owners failed to prevent or solve behavior problems. Thousands of dogs are abandoned every year from simply no particular reasons. Shelters dogs could dealing with separation issues from this abandoned or can be perfectly normal!! Most dogs are just want to be saved & be with you!!!!! To prevent to a dog return to shelter & she or he needs to willing to train, correct the unacceptable behavior with discipline & exercises, & loving them just like your family members.
